| Virtual Kvint |
Kvint-6 includes the following new components: 1) Virtual R-380 controller 2) Virtual I/O modules, including a set of new I/O modules 3) Model builder based on the Meson component (see below) Virtual Kvint simplifies the testing of application programs and provides a basis for building training simulators. |
| Pylon Development |
1) In Kvint-6, the same Pylon can be used to prepare process programs for R-210 (Kvint-4), R-310 (Kvint-5), and R-380/390 (Kvint-6) controllers. 2) Kvint-6 Pylon can document process programs through automatic division of the task field into drawing sheets, title-block definition, and previewing of the result. 3) Group operations with algorithm blocks have been introduced: deletion, moving and property editing. The object-addition wizard can be called directly from Pylon. All this reduces the effort required to prepare process programs. 4) A mechanism for transferring tasks and individual algorithm blocks between projects and saving them as files has been implemented. This makes it possible to build a library of standard tasks for use in different projects. |
| Polis | This is a new Kvint-6 component. Polis provides a clear, user-friendly way to edit the structure of, and monitor the execution of, logical sequential programs. |
| Meson | This is a new Kvint-6 component used to design calculation tasks. After calculation algorithms are prepared during the design stage, Meson switches to operational execution mode. |
| Macro Objects | When designing object video displays, such as mnemonic symbols and object windows, they can now include aggregated information obtained from several simpler objects, including other macro objects. This makes it possible to create a very large macro object, for example an entire boiler or turbine, or a list of macro-object mnemonic symbols and place these elements on different process diagrams. |
| New Application Design | Kvint-6 KvIntegrator uses new icons that are easily associated with the purpose of the applications. The icons use True Color, gradient fills and rounded corners. Most Kvint applications support Windows XP themes. |
| Project Data Reporting and Export System | All project data entered in Arcade and Database Administrator can be exported to one of the commonly used formats and printed using Microsoft Office. |
