Key Milestones in Kvint Development

2018A new version of the KvIntegrator SCADA system was developed to operate under Microsoft Windows Server 2016 and Windows 11.
2013A new Kvint version, Kvint-6, was developed. The main differences between Kvint-6 and Kvint-5 can be viewed here.
2006A new Kvint version, Kvint SI (System Integration), was developed.
2005A turbine controller was developed. Its first application was at 300 MW Power Unit No. 2 of Kostroma GRES.
2004At CHP-23 Mosenergo, a burner-control subsystem based on compact Remikont R-330 field controllers was commissioned for the first time. Field I/O modules were installed directly at the boiler and connected to the central units through a 150 m fieldbus.
2004The compact multifunctional Remikont R-330 field controller was developed.
2003The largest Kvint-based project was implemented: a full-scale APCS for 800 MW Power Unit No. 6 at Ryazan GRES, including automatic control, discrete control, frequency and power control, calculations and optimization, interlocks and process protections.
2002Based on Kvint Version 5, information and control APCS were commissioned at the largest power units: 1,200 MW Power Unit No. 9 at Kostroma GRES and 800 MW Power Unit No. 5 at Ryazan GRES, as well as full-scale control systems at CHP-22 Mosenergo.
2002At the Aktobe Ferrochrome Plant in Kazakhstan, the first full-scale APCS for the PSU-37 steam power plant based on Kvint Version 5 was commissioned, using both standalone and redundant controllers, power networks and information networks.
2001A thermal-protection subsystem was developed as part of Kvint Version 5.
2000Kvint Version 5 was developed; the first delivery was to Konakovo GRES.
1999Kvint Version 4 was developed, and APCS design based on it began.
1998At CHP-27 Mosenergo, an integrated APCS covering both the thermal and electrical parts of the plant was commissioned for the first time in Russia.
1998Kvint Version 3 was developed.
1997Kvint Version 2 was developed.
1996At CHP-27 Mosenergo, Russia’s first APCS for a power unit operating in control mode was commissioned.
1994Kvint Version 1 was developed, and the first APCS operating in control mode was implemented on its basis at Penyagino DHP.
